Is so you can take it to his insurance company... but I seriously doubt you'll get it. Reread my post. If you're trying to get $15k for your NA converted to a TT, good luck. As soon as they see the VIN, do a KBB on your year normally aspirated Z, that's what you're going to get offered. They may let you keep the car... but otherwise I think you're up a creek without a paddle. It sucks I know, we'd all be in the same boat. Only guy I know that has gotten away with something like this is Pops... and I believe he had EVERYTHING documented WITH his insurance company and his car was STOLEN... nothing left to get back/part out/etc... (it may have been recovered possibly, I don't remember, but its of no consequence). Best luck with it though... fight for all you can... but $15k? Yeah right...
